The Social Graph: Crowd Factory Aims to Scale Social Ads


How goes it Social Fans!  Crowd Factory’s blog has been feeling a bit lonely as we have been having to spend a lot of time working with new customers, developing new products and gearing up for the end of 2011 (is that even possible…yes it is!).  In the interim, we have been reading some amazing stories about ourselves and we would like to share one with you now. This week Erik Sass of MediaPost published a very nice article about how Crowd Factory helps marketers and advertisers integrate social engagement into all their online programs, including email, videos, web pages, microsites, webinars — and of course the social networks themselves. One of the more difficult parts of social media advertising is achieving scale, especially with “earned” media, meaning, when your message goes viral and the consumer does your advertising for you. One company that’s addressing the scale issue is Crowd Factory, a San Francisco-based startup that raised $6.5 million in equity financing in a round led by Storm Ventures back in January of this year.
